That sucks. I roughed it out for a week before going in. I still have a lingering cough, nearly four weeks later. My daughter caught the same flu. She went to the doctor as soon as the fever started. They gave her a shit and she was fine two or three days later.

Next time, I’m going ASAP to get the shot.

Surprisingly no. Everyone was friendly, calm, one doc wore a mask but the nurses didn’t (I had one).

Since I hadn’t been out of the country and hadn’t been exposed to anyone with a confirmed case of the new virus, I was perceived as low risk. Curious how wise that attitude is, but that’s why they’re the professionals.

I’ve been stuck in busy, crowded waiting rooms for hours before: this was the polar opposite. Thank goodness.
